Final Project Proposal (brief version)
Team: Claudia Russo, Rafael Poloni and Poonam Patel
Concept
An art interactive art installation that plays with a person’s perception of reality through some mysterious controls and an infinity mirror.
An infinity mirror is a pair of parallel mirrors, which create a series of smaller and smaller reflections that appear to recede to infinity.
Example of an infinity mirror
Interaction
A person sitting in an enclosed dark booth facing a mirror, puts his/her hands into 4 mysterious boxes to discover controls that correspond to various movements on the infinity mirror - dancing lights, mirror itself, and other things inside the mirror. (Setup would look something like a person sitting at a dressing table with curtains all around)
This person can’t see what controls each box has and what it does to the mirror - that’s part of the fun. One box may have just a button, others may have sensors, but every box corresponds to one action only.
